Music Master Teacher Program

An Advanced Training Program for Music Educators

Train → Teach → Succeed 🎵

The Music Master Teacher Program (MMTP) is an innovative teacher-training initiative carefully designed and delivered by established musicians, educators, and scholars to meet the needs of contemporary guitar, bass, piano, and drums teachers who wish to be at the forefront of the profession by deepening their understanding of teaching practices and related disciplines.
In this view, the MMTP aims to keep educators up to date with a wide range of teaching methodologies, evidence-based educational theories and relevant musical disciplines. Whether you are an experienced musician already teaching, or someone planning to begin a teaching career, the program will foster the knowledge and skills necessary to develop as an ever more effective teacher.
More broadly, the MMTP represents a substantial contribution to music and instrumental teaching in community-based and independent sector in Italy. In this context, the program is the first to advance a comprehensive study of both vernacular and traditional learning perspectives, bridging embodied practices from Afro-Atlantic learning ecologies with structured learning systems embedded in European Western art culture. It examines how these approaches relate across levels – from early childhood to professional musical development – and how the knowledge gained enables participants to undertake an examination leading to an ABRSM teaching diploma mapped at EQF Level 6 or 7.
